Privacy Policy
Fontee is an iPhone app for adding text, fonts, stickers, templates and effects to photos and video backgrounds. This policy explains what data the app and supporting services process.
Data you choose to use in Fontee
Photos, videos, imported fonts and project files you choose in Fontee are used to provide the editing features you request. Projects, imported fonts and most media artifacts are stored locally on your device in app storage until you delete them or remove the app.
Remove Background uses Apple Vision processing on your device. The selected image is not sent to a Fontee server for that feature.
Online services and third parties
Fontee uses Firebase services for app configuration, remote asset catalogs, stock-background search support, crash reporting, performance diagnostics, analytics and App Check protection. Stock background searches can send the search query, selected provider, provider asset identifiers and technical request metadata to Firebase Cloud Functions, which call Pixabay, Pexels or Unsplash as requested. Search responses may be cached in Firestore for service reliability.
Fontee uses Apple App Store services and RevenueCat for subscriptions and entitlement status. These services can process purchase history, product identifiers, transaction status and app installation identifiers needed to unlock Fontee Pro.
Fontee uses Firebase Analytics and related Google measurement tools for product analytics and advertising measurement. If you allow tracking through Apple App Tracking Transparency, Fontee may collect advertising identifiers and Apple Search Ads attribution data for ad attribution and campaign measurement.
How data is used
- Provide editing, export, subscription and restore-purchase features.
- Load remote catalogs, stock background results and app configuration.
- Measure app performance, crashes, onboarding, purchases and export events.
- Attribute advertising campaigns when tracking permission and platform rules allow it.
- Respond to support requests sent to support@fontee.app.
Retention and deletion
Local projects and imported files stay on your device until you delete them in the app, delete the app or clear the app data through iOS. Support emails are retained as needed to answer and track the request. Analytics, crash, purchase and attribution records are retained by the relevant service providers under their own retention controls.
You can request deletion of support records or ask privacy questions by emailing support@fontee.app. Some purchase records may need to remain with Apple or RevenueCat for billing, fraud prevention, accounting or legal reasons.
Your choices
- Use iOS Settings to manage Photos access, tracking permission and app permissions.
- Use the App Store subscription settings to manage or cancel Fontee Pro.
- Delete local projects or uninstall Fontee to remove local app data from your device.
- Email support@fontee.app for privacy or support requests.
Children
Fontee is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal data through support or another channel, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Changes
We may update this policy when Fontee features, service providers or legal requirements change. The updated page will show a new last updated date.
